Bethel Zimmerman

Bethel Marie Zimmerman, 80, of West Fargo, ND (formerly Bruce Crossing, MI), died September 19, 2017 in her home.

Bethel was born December 1, 1936, in Montmorency County, MI. She lived in logging camps until the age of 8, when her family moved to Vanderbilt, MI, where she grew up. On June 15, 1955, Bethel married Carl Zimmerman in Bruce Crossing, MI. There they raised two children, Alvin and Tina.

Bethel and Carl moved to West Fargo, ND in August of 2014 to be closer to family. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bethel is survived by her husband, Carl of 62 years; two children, Al (Sandy) Zimmerman of West Fargo, ND and Tina (Frank) Holland of Gardiner, MT; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Bertha (Bob) Fay of Westport Beach, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 3p.m. at West Funeral Home in West Fargo, ND.

Burial:  Maple Grove Cemetery, Bruce Crossing, MI.
